The location of the hotel is superb, it is situated nearby a wonderful park, all means of transport are just beyond the hotel. I would like to appreciate the hospitality which was given to my parents, because I’ve booked the apartments for them. I’m from Ukraine, and the situation which is happening just now in my country made me decide to send them alone to Bulgaria. My purpose was to give them maximum comfort, we didn’t ask for help, or for free stay, I just think they deserved a little rest, after everything they should go through while staying home. All the amenities in the room provide for utmost comfort. Actually, the staff is very kind and responsive, with my parents’ words “we really enjoyed breakfasts, it was tasty and varied, everybody tried to help us, and asked all the time whether we’re ok”. HIGH PRACE for everything guys, and best regards!!

The hotel was already existent in the socialist era, but was renovated surely during the last appr. 5-10 years. The furnishings are modern simple but sufficient. Cleanliness excellent. Excellent WiFi. I had a room in the 16th storey facing west with a breathtaking view over the city. The breakfast is served as a Bulgarian-style menu with a good choice of different stuff. Good coffee and juices. You will not be able to leave this meal hungry. The metro station is in 5 min footwalk distance. I recommend to use the paid parking opposite the entrance at rebated tariff. Costs appr. 7 Euro/day and is easier than to find a (legal) parking spot in the neighbourhood.

The hotel is near the Russian Consulate. Next door is the wonderful Happy Bar & Grill restaurant. Nearby is the metro station that links to the airport and to the city center. The hotel is old, but has been moderninzed very well. Even with snow outside, the room was very warm with only the small wall mounted electric heater. The bathroom was very nice looking. Calling a taxi was very easy by using a tablet at the front desk. The entrance to the park is nearby. The breakfast was adequate. The lobby bar offers drinks, sandwiches, and bottled water. The soap and toilet paper despensers are very nice to use.

I like the location, it is close to the metro station and Borisova Garden. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are big and clean with amazing views. I also enjoyed the spacious breakfast hall, including the decor, with some nice murals. The view from the top restaurant is also stunning, especially during sunset, with views over the whole city and Vitosha Mountain. There are few hotels with this nostalgic, retro ambience that are so well maintained and keep some of their original character.

This is one decent hotel for short term stay. Nothing special, but convenient enough. Great location - next to the metro to/from the airport and to the largest park in Sofia. You can go to the city center either conveniently and fast with metro or walking refreshingly through the park. The building itself is an example of communist modernist style but the rooms were renovated. Hope the owners will keep the architectural style even if it may look for someone a little outdated.
